A hundred days is long enough to build a habit and short enough to finish. The Aayaath 100-day challenge asks for one thing: read one ayah of the Quran every day, with its meaning. The free Reading Garden keeps you company along the way.

How it works

  1. Start your garden on the Reading Garden page.
  2. Read the day's ayah, in Arabic with its translation.
  3. A flower blooms in your garden for every ayah you read.
  4. After 100 ayahs, your garden is complete and you receive a certificate.

What you will read

The 100 ayahs were chosen to speak to everyday life: praise and gratitude, patience and hope, mercy and forgiveness, family and kindness, prayer and remembrance, and the du'as of the prophets. The journey begins with the first ayah ever revealed:

ٱقْرَأْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ

“Recite in the name of your Lord who created …”

Quran, Surah Al-Alaq 96:1 · Saheeh International

Here are the first days of the challenge. Every ayah is also in the Ayah Library.

Tips to finish all 100 days

Read at the same time every day. Keep it short: one ayah, read slowly, is the whole task. Invite a friend or your family to start on the same day, so you keep each other going. And if you miss a day, come back the next one and carry on.
